1 day per week in person
Enhance your skills and qualify as a massage therapist with the VTCT Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy Massage. Over 7 months, you’ll train 1 day a week at one of our academies. You’ll learn body massage, pre-blended massage, hot stones, and Indian head massage, alongside electrical facials.
You’ll gain hands-on skills in professional massage techniques, including body massage, pre-blended massage, hot stones, and Indian head massage. You’ll also train in electrical facials, alongside key knowledge in anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and contributing to the financial effectiveness of the business. This course prepares you for real-world work in salons, spas, or as a self-employed massage therapist through practical and theory-based training.

There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that you must have prior to undertaking this qualification. Your centre will have ensured that you have the required knowledge, understanding and skills to enrol and successfully achieve this qualification.

What’s Included?

- English and maths (if you haven’t yet achieved grade 4/C at GCSE)

- Personal development and career preparation
You’ll be in a supportive learning environment with access to tutors, pastoral care, and career guidance.
Am I Eligible?
To enrol on a fully funded Study Programme, you must:
- Be aged 16 to 19 on 31st August before the academic year starts
- Be living in England and eligible for state education funding
- Not already hold a full Level 3 qualification (depending on the programme)
We also welcome learners with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans) up to age 25.

Provide makeup services for events, weddings, and media. Tailor looks to client needs while demonstrating expert technique, product knowledge, and understanding of facial aesthetics.
Deliver holistic treatments in spa settings, focusing on relaxation and wellbeing. Use a range of techniques and products while maintaining high customer care standards.
Provide in-home beauty treatments tailored to client needs. Manage bookings, hygiene, and transport while delivering high-quality, professional services.
Support senior beauty staff with treatments, cleaning, and customer care. Ideal entry point into the beauty industry with hands-on salon experience.
Teach practical and theoretical skills to aspiring beauty professionals. Prepare lesson plans, deliver training, and assess learners in educational or private settings.
