This Level 3 Barbering qualification is designed to develop your practical skills to an advanced level. You’ll learn how to create a variety of men’s hairstyles and facial hair looks while developing a strong understanding of health, safety, professional practice and client care. The course is ideal for those looking to progress their barbering skills and work confidently within the industry.
Develop advanced barbering techniques for cutting men’s hair and facial hair to create a variety of professional looks. You’ll learn how to plan and adapt services to meet individual client requirements while developing your understanding of safe salon practice, consultation, professional standards and maintaining health and safety within a barbering environment.
Practical Treatment and Theory Knowledge Check
Previous hairdressing or barbering experience is recommended. Learners should have a basic understanding of hair cutting techniques and be confident carrying out practical salon services.

Course Cost for Level 3 Beauty Services
• £1645 if using government funding (Advanced Learner Loan)
• £1645 + VAT (£1974 total) if self-funding
Course fees are set by HM Government and published by the Education and Skills Funding Agency on the Learning Aims Reference Service (LARS).

To qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan, you must:
• Be aged 19 or over
• Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
• Be a UK national or have the right to live and work in the UK
