Enhance your skills and qualify as a massage therapist with the VTCT Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy Massage. Over 8 months, you’ll train 1 day a week at one of our academies. You’ll learn body massage, pre-blended massage, hot stones, and Indian head massage, alongside waxing and intimate waxing. A business unit on financial effectiveness helps prepare you for salon, spa, or self-employed roles.
You’ll gain hands-on skills in professional massage techniques, including body massage, pre-blended massage, hot stones, and Indian head massage. You’ll also train in waxing and intimate waxing, alongside key knowledge in anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and contributing to the financial effectiveness of the business. This course prepares you for real-world work in salons, spas, or as a self-employed massage therapist through practical and theory-based training.
Assessment, exams, Knowledge units: Quiz & theory presentations
There are no formal prerequisite qualifications that you must have prior to undertaking this qualification. Your centre will have ensured that you have the required knowledge, understanding and skills to enrol and successfully achieve this qualification.

Course Cost for Level 3 Massage
- £3345 if using government funding (Advanced Learner Loan)
- £3345 + VAT (£4014 total) if self-funding
Course fees are set by HM Government and published by the Education and Skills Funding Agency on the Learning Aims Reference Service (LARS).

- Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years
- Be a UK national or have the right to live and work in the UK
