You’ll learn how to prepare and perform professional face and body waxing treatments using both warm strip wax and hot wax. Training includes skin and hair anatomy, the hair growth cycle, client consultation, contraindications, infection prevention, safe wax heating and temperature testing, product selection, treatment-area preparation and correct application and removal techniques. You’ll also develop your skills in skin stretching, client positioning, maintaining comfort and dignity, preventing bruising or skin damage, managing contra-actions and providing professional waxing aftercare. By the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge and practical confidence to offer safe, hygienic and effective waxing treatments to clients.
